In the area in which I live there was years ago the south hill rapist. He was alive and well in that area for a long time before they finally caught him. He has served his 25 year prison sentence and now they want to commit him to a mental institution for fear of his return to society that he will re-offend. My vote, never let him out! I can tell you one thing, if any or all of those women were carrying Pepper Spray, Mace, a Taser or Stun Gun can you imagine how many women would have been spared the horrific assault that they no doubt have to live with the rest of their lives? Unfortunatly 25 years ago these Personal Safety Products were not available to them. Ladies please carry Pepper Spray or some form of Self Defense Products. They are cheap and easy to use, anyone can do it. And if you really want to protect yourself and increase your chances carry a Stun Gun or Taser.
Accourding to an article at securitypark figures from the British Crime Survey show that a person is a victim of crime every 4 minutes in that country. It goes on to say that “quite clearly that women who fight back and resist a violent and personal attack have more chance of survival than those who submit meekly”. And further, it states that “women who resist are less likely to receive excessive and gratuitous violence”. So ladies, why not fight back with everything you have. Don’t sucum to any attacker. Carry Basic Safety Products. Pepper Spray, Stun Guns and Personal Alarms are an inexpensive way to keep yourself from harm.
When it comes to child safety, have you really done all you can to ensure the safety of your children, your grandchildren or for that matter any child that comes into your home? Regret is a horrible thing especially when you can’t go back and change a terrible accident. Safety Products are inexpensive and really only take a few moments of your time to install. I can’t even imagine the pain and the ability to forgive yourself should you have an accident with your child. I have a 13 month old grandson. He is as mobil as they come. He is into everything. You have to watch him like a hawk. Safety latches for cupboard doors. That one probably takes the longest to install but what a life saver that can be. Accidental poisoning is on the raise. It is devastating to watch a little one be poisoned. The drawers where sharp objects are stored, the stair way they can tumble down, the car seat properly installed. All these things are of great value. They have out there this neat little thing called The Mace Kinderguard Child Protection Kit. Very affordable and you have almost everything you need right there. So stop what your doing and get on it. Ask yourself the question, have I really done all I can to protect them? Child Protection, do it today!
In the paper this morning there was an article about a break in at a warehouse office. The perpetrators stole items valued at over $100.000. But they did not stop at that. They urinated all over everything and defecated in a file cabinet drawer. Wow! How sick is that. It never said in the article if there were any hidden cameras in the place. Sometimes thieves will shoot out or some how destroy or enable the cameras if they are obviously in plane sight. How about this? Why not place non-conspicuous Hidden Camera in plane sight. How about Desk Top Speakers Hidden Camera or a Hidden Camera Wall Clock. It would be nice, don’t you think to have them on camera for identification purposes. Maybe if we could play back to show the world what they looked like we could catch them. Well look at the bright side, We have there DNA!
How many times have you wondered what is really going on when your not there? Do you suspect that your kids friends are stealing from them or from you? Do you ever wonder if the baby sitter is being good to your kids or really watching them? Heaven forbid do you suspect your spouse is cheating on you. I have a really good idea for you! You need to get a hidden camera. They come in all shapes sizes in non-conspicuous forms. For instance, a Tissue Box Holder Hidden Surveillance Camera, a Vanity Mirror Hidden Camera, Desk Top Speakers Hidden Camera, a Wall Clock Hidden Camera, a Smoke Detector Hidden Camera just to mention a few. Protect yourself against this with this very affordable Basic Safety Product.
Everyday that I open the Spokesman Review it never fails me. I can find with out much effort a story about someone who was attacked, or impending harm almost got them. Today for instance is a story about a college girl in the area. She was walking in broad daylight when a man grabbed her by the shoulders tried to hug her then told her to kiss him and if she tried to scream he would hurt her. She screamed bless her heart. I was thinking a Stun Gun would have been very appropriate about then and I think I would have aimed low if you know what I mean. Anything would due you know, Stun Guns, Tasers, Mace Pepper Spray, a very loud Personal Alarm right up next to his ear. But I do favor the Stun gun in the private area would send a clear message that I am not going to take this from anyone. I will fight back.

You’ve probably heard the words “stun gun” and “Taser” thrown around when talking about self-defense, but the two terms are not actually interchangeable. They are in fact two different weapons in the same electroshock family.
Stun guns administer a muscle-debilitating shock, but they require direct contact with the assailant in order to work.
Tasers, on the other hand, actually shoot two electrodes into the assailant, and the electric shock is delivered through the thin wires connecting the gun to those electrodes.
There is general consensus that stun guns require at least five second of contact in order to be effective against an assailant. If the attacker can overpower the person in that time, the stun gun is rendered ineffective. Generally, Tasers are preferred by police officers, but there is still a heated debate about whether they inflict any lasting damage and whether they can actually cause death.

If you are walking alone at night, you don’t have to feel completely defenseless. If you carry a personal alarm in your purse or somewhere on your person, you have given yourself a fantastic advantage. But what is a personal alarm? And what can it do to protect you or the ones you love?
Personal safety alarms are devices that are capable of emitting an extremely loud, piercing noise. They are usually activated by pushing a button or pulling a tag. They make you safe in several very basic ways.
Assailants like to use the element of surprise, so when you surprise them right back with a piercing siren, you may disorient or scare them just long enough to get away. At the very least, the siren will attract the attention of others, and your assailant is more likely to run off when others direct their attention towards you.
While no one device offers surefire protection against attackers, personal alarms are always a good tool to have. Even if you never use it, you can feel just a little bit safer knowing it’s available.
This weekend in the paper, an article was written in the Spokesman Review about a lady shopping at a mall in Spokane Washington. Someone, a woman to be exact, tried to take the purse of another lady in the mall. The woman fought back and was able to keep her purse. The woman who tried to take her purse got away. It was quite the scene I might guess watching as this woman fought to keep her purse along with her identity. That is what I would be most worried about. My identity stolen. It is too bad that she did not have Pepper Spray or a Stun Gun to disable this woman. She would not have gotten away to try again on yet another unarmed innocent woman. I tell you, we need to keep ourselves armed all the time. I carry a pocket size key chain Pepper Spray. I carry it in my hands when walking anywhere. It is off safety and ready to shoot at any given time. Don’t fall victim to anyone or anything. Protecting yourself with just the Basic Safety Products could save your life.
Yes It has happened again. Everyday lately the head lines have something about an animal attack. This time up in Grand-Coolie Washington area where an 11 year old boy playing near a park was attacked by a cougar. The boy was only scratched by the animal. Luckily he had been prepared a head of time by his parents on what to do if such a thing should happen. Again as I have mentioned before your animal repellents, pepper sprays, tasers or stun guns would not have helped in this situation. But, hats off to those parents who taught the son to stand straight up when confronted by wild animals to make yourself appear big. Never turn your back on them. Never run from them. And, never scream, just slowly walk backwards to safety. That is exactly what he did. All the Basic Safety Products in the world can not save you if you don’t have the knowledge and street smarts or in this case park smarts as this boy demonstrated. His life is saved due to smart parents who took the time to teach this kid the basic safety measures in case of an emergency.
