A set of solid steel handcuffs may seem like the ideal way to keep burglars at bay until the authorities arrive. But, you should also anticipate how they will be subdued or disarmed in order to be cuffed. You should also consider as many different situations as possible. You can keep your self defense weapons in the car, but what if someone attacks you before you get to it? What if you can’t get to your car in time? Answering these questions can prevent injury and hardship beforehand.

Choosing the right self defense weapons  is only the beginning. You also need to ensure the item is legal in your state. Your local authorities should be able to tell you what products are legal on both a regional and State level.
